Installation for Windows Users

In an attempt to curb the number of emails I receive about this, please note the following information before you install ASM.

WHEN YOU FIRST RUN ASM, IT WILL ASK YOU FOR A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. THE DEFAULT ASM USERNAME AND PASSWORD IS "user" and "letmein".

Go to the download area and get the sheltermanager-2.3.5_i386_win32.exe file, save it to your hard disk and double-click it in Windows Explorer to install.

You are ready! Double-click the shortcut on your desktop to start Animal Shelter Manager. Hit Ok when prompted for a local database, and then log in with the default user - username "user", password "letmein". The first thing you should do is create user accounts for yourself and your staff under System->Edit System Users.
